When it comes to time, history is one of the words one may think of. In
this case, we speak of Macy’s, New York at Herold’s Place. It is the world’s
biggest shopping mall and has ever been. 10 stories of goods presented on
198.500 m² (2.13 million sqft.) fits everyone’s needs.

WhatsApp had to deal again with security problems. While the older
versions didn’t encrypt the message traffic at all, the newer versions used
an AES algorythm to encrypt the messages when sent. Yet the security
was weak as the key is based on the device’s IMEI and thus can be hacked.

The fight never stops… As Apple and Samsung have a still ongoing patent
fight, there seems another light ray for Samsung. As recently known, the
jury seems not to have checked the validity of Apple’s patents properly.
The questions concerning the check process have not been answered.

Nothing much to laugh for kids in the russian Federation. All in the name
of saving their children from “bad influence”. What sounds sort of crazy
has become true just recently in Russia. Besides Tom and Jerry, there are
already The Simpsons off the Air and Winnie The Poo Bear.

Sony Optiarc, manufacturer of many of the optical drives that spin your

production of optical drives. In times where most of the data is streamed
via cloud services and the internet, this seems logical.

Okay, you all know cell phones. Put in a SIM card, and you’re good to go.
Then there are phones to put in 2 sim cards (maybe one local and one
traveller prepaid card for roaming. Seems feasible and logic. But one
manufacturer thought, hey, there’s room for more. another SIM slot.

Microsoft goes for a new logo. The new logo appears to be a close call to the
new Windows 8 operating system which is about to release in the upcoming
weeks. This is why the new logo is rather flat compared to the Windows XP or

The cell network. Reason for many users to start turning red as if they have eaten
a hot pepperoni of Habañero. You know this situation probably. At your home
(in my case Switzerland) the cell phone works like a charm, and *BANG*, just as
you cross the border to the neighbor country, your signal’s gone. Black hole!
