It seems as if “Kim Dotcom” is still active and going to show the copyright
holders the big middle finger after the imprisonment that happened in 2012
against him in new Zealand. As for now, he is free again and planning to bring
up a new, improved Megaupload service. What it will be, is yet unknown.

The New Zealand High Court has now officially confirmed 6 million NZ$
to be given back to Kim Schmitz so that he can pay the lawyer costs, the
lawsuit has generated so far. Also, cars have been released so that he can
sell these, too. It seems as if the Kim Schmitz story will soon come to end.

Woznia has visited the grounded Kim Schmitz for an interview. Wozniak has
stated, that the current ongoing lawsuit against Kim Schmitz is nonsense and
not having any fundament to be serious. Kim Schmitz also fought the charge.

It seems as if MegaUpload’s files are still safe as the four parties still can’t
agree. The Hoster and Dept. of Justice agree that the files shall be deleted
as the running costs are enormous. The attorneys of MegaUpload and the
MPAA want to keep the files. Both to use them for law-related purposes.

It seems that lawsuits in any part of our life will define the day in the future. In this case,
heise.de got sued by Megaupload for an article about Megaupload. To be more exact, this
phrase was the spark for the fire: “Megaupload pays uploaders of very popular files”. The
case has been closed now and Megaupload has to pay for all costs, the lawsuit has caused.

Today, Megaupload has been officially reported to be busted by the FBI as MPAA, RIAA
and mayor labels have claimed for big losses due to copyright violations, Megaupload has
probably done. Several persons have been taken into custody for further audition.
According to the lawsuit, the media industry claims for $500 million.
