It seems as if “Kim Dotcom” is still active and going to show the copyright
holders the big middle finger after the imprisonment that happened in 2012
against him in new Zealand. As for now, he is free again and planning to bring
up a new, improved Megaupload service. What it will be, is yet unknown.

At least the video is somewhat strange and otherwise funny to look at. But what does the video actually have to do with MegaUpload and it’s founder?

The new service is said to start on January 19th, 2013

With a mechanism that allows users to encrypt their files, it’s possible that only the user knows what he has saved there but not the service provider (in this case, MegaUpload). However I doubt, that the userside encryption is a way to evade the strict copyright laws from the USA and their music and movie industry.
