Today the Wall Street in New York has been occupied by about 700 activists who
demonstrate against the enormous power of the banks and financial places such as the
stock exchange in New York. However the action did not have such big success as the
local police has arrested many of the disturbants and probably put them into custody.

Hey there, my bday is coming with big steps. only 9 days until I get one year older.
Can’t believe that one year has passed by so quickly. Lots of things happened. But
what you gonna do about it except nothing or nothing? This year I didn’t travel
around with Rosiv as we did last year in Vienna. However plans are to go to…

The last day of September is nearing end and quite a lot has happened.

and my effort there got honored. The October will also be interesting as I

Long time, the iPhone 4 has dominated the display resolution field. The
astonishing display resolution of 326 ppi in Apple’s famous Retina display
was unmatched and it kept the crown for about 15 months. Today HTC has
announced the HTC Vigor. It’s 4.3 inch display seems to put one on top!

Just two more days to go to enjoy the weekend. These ones have been sent to me by
Pianoman! Thanks for the great stuff. Couldn’t laugh more. And let alone the fact about
the different sites (Google, Facebook, etc..) – it’s so damn true. So for y’all others:
Check the pics in this post. Have a nice wednesday evening!

…just kidding! This man is simply the best chess player in the world. But why
this bumptious title then? Well… you know I try to beat the AI on my chess
game on the iPhone with the highest number of queens on the checkerboard
ever possible (it’s nine btw.) – Till yesterday I managed to get eight on it!

So… there we have it… the new version of Firefox… AGAIN! Not only have
I updated to Version 6 only 1 month ago, no, I also had to update all the
plugins as well and not every plugin has been transcoded to be compatible
with version 6 yet. I understand the frustration of users AND programmers!

Yep, you read right. This Blog now protects certain blog entries from being
viewed by everyone. I am following people’s requests upon privacy. As other
sites (Facebook & Co.) don’t hold it so good with privacy and publication of
intellectual goods (pics and private texts), I took one step ahead.

Seems as if Kodak has some financial issues as the had the need to take a loan
of about 160 million US-Dollars. That’s a pretty big loan indeed. The fact that
Kodak has chosen to take the loan just few days before the end of the fiscal
quarter may let you think, that there are severe financial issues ongoing.

Seems as if the guys at Cupertino get no rest at all. Now a real near competitor
from Fremont (That’s approx. 7 miles away from Cupertino) is suing Apple for
patent violations. S3 formerly known for integrated GPU and much earlier also
known for own graphics cards, sees two of it’s patents violated by Apple.

It’s incredible what’s possible on the patent “market” – Although I can understand that
Apple is defending their intellectual goods such as the design of the iPad which Samsung
has derived it’s Galaxy Tab from, it’s unconducive for the IT market to block and sue.
But exactly this is now being repeated by a small company, called Internet Machines!

Remember September 12th? Where I stated that 8 (EIGHT!) queens to get is
almost impossible to achieve as the AI tends to get stalemate before replacing
7 pawns into queens? Seems as if I finally did otherwise. What previously
looked like an unsolvablepuzzle, finally solved up. Not so difficult at all!

Why write about a cat? Or even post a video about it. Cats are ordinary pets.
All good arguments and true but this feline is a real special one. This cat
brings her holder to a metro station in Melbourne and waits for her until
the evening. The whole day… and without any trouble. Heart-touching I say!

You all know the theory that light is the fastest possible “element” existing.
Albert Einstein has described in 1916 that nothing can be faster than the
light itself. Hereby the famous formula E=mc² has been created in which the
speed of light is measured to be exactly 299’792.658 km per second.

Maybe funny, maybe not. But this one just came into my mailbox sent by one of my

signal rockets. The reason why the ship has hit the submarine without slowing…

You probably know these giant text boards that give drivers in USA informations about
dangers and other obstacles on the road or when something important is broadcasted on

guys to use this security leak to have fun. The results make you grin at minimum…

So… The Windows-bashers (a.k.a. Apple-lovers) finally can no longer say that iOS is never
crashing and running without flaws. Yesterday, my iPhone has shown a rather strange
homescreen. It happened after hanging up a phone call. The icons were really disarranged
and not responding when tapping on them. Only a hard reboot finally solved the problem!

Just one week ago, the prankster couple had us a good laugh when John has mixed
laxatives into Nikki’s food and drink. She didn’t like it very much and had to stay on the
toilet for a couple of hours. She was so upset that she has sworn to kill John with a knife.
Sounds funny and was meant likewise. Her revenge is bittersweet and hits John hard.

POW! Samsung has given second serving to Apple. It seems as if Samsung also
plans to prohibit the sale of the upcoming iPhone 5 in Europe also. Basis of the
sale prohibition is still the violation of wireless technologypatents Samsung is

…has the world gone berzerk in the last days and weeks?!? Yesterday a car bomb in

lots of damage but fortunately no persons were harmed. So what comes next?

The USA, country of unlimited possibilities. Also country of unlimited idiots and rather
dubious lawsuits. One of these is made in July 2006 where a private Person, called
Allen Ray Hackard (51), has fired up a lawsuit against Michael Jordan and Nike.
The sum: The astronomic number of 832.000.000 simoleons. Crazy stuff? Indeed!

It sounds like a sci-fi novel. A modified 4×4 car, high-tech radio frequency jamming
technology, stealth-ability, highly-armored – a real moving fortress!
They say that the car itself is jamming any kind of electric device within 100 metres
(approx. 300 feet) using microwave and radio frequency at high power rate.

This reeks! Pupils of an elementary school in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany) are

Today, Standard&Poors has lowered the Rating for Italy from A+ to A-1 as it thinks,

follow the plan. A high unemployment rate, low invests from other countries…

Well… As it got boring to checkmate the AI at medium setting over 100 times, I decided
to challenge myself by playing a round at extreme setting and try to checkmate him.
I tried often by playing as defensive as possible and mostly ended up checkmated as the
AI always slashed my pawns and then picks on my main figures one by one…

The Fight, Apple vs. Samsung (or vice versa) is going into the next round.
