Today I decided to do a quick Chess round against the AI again.
While picking on all of his figures, he stood there naked quickly!
In a minute and with the loss of only three pawns, I cornered the
AI and completely humiliated it by such a quick round.

…just kidding! This man is simply the best chess player in the world. But why
this bumptious title then? Well… you know I try to beat the AI on my chess
game on the iPhone with the highest number of queens on the checkerboard
ever possible (it’s nine btw.) – Till yesterday I managed to get eight on it!

Well… As it got boring to checkmate the AI at medium setting over 100 times, I decided
to challenge myself by playing a round at extreme setting and try to checkmate him.
I tried often by playing as defensive as possible and mostly ended up checkmated as the
AI always slashed my pawns and then picks on my main figures one by one…

Today I tried to apply the so-called Scholar’s mate move on the AI. You don’t know what
Scholar’s mate means? It means, setting the opponent checkmate within 4 moves
ignoring any threat of him. As this move is very basic, you won’t see professionals
playing that move in any way. Amazing how quick the AI was beaten!

Well… remember, when I beat the AI (or let’s say, the iPhone) with six queens?
You also remember that I stated, that it would be almost impossibe to gain 7
queens and then bone the AI? Finally I managed to do this also but it was not
easy at all. Took me quite some time to do so and not on easy setting!

Well, it seems as if the iPhone has hit a new Low against me. Remember
the published screenshot of my game where I have beaten the AI in under
30 seconds? Today I set a new record: 18 seconds and the AI was done!
So maybe there will be another record in Chess but this one is good!

How long does it take to set a human player checkmate with the fastest possible
combination of moves such as the Schäferzug? The fastest Game I know of between
two human Players was about 45 seconds. Today I was able to set a new personal
record on the iPhone where I ripped that pesky iPhone in 24(!) seconds!

Again I had to wait for a Test-Computer to be prepared for installation of a test application.
While waiting, I decided to play Chess again and trying to bone the AI again.
As it is rather difficult to gain six Queens AND NOT to Stalemate the AI.
Stalemate means that the opponent can’t make a move without being checked.

Again I had to wait for an application to finish maintenance on my workstation.
So I decided to play chess again. Funny to see, how the iPhone can loose at medium settings:
I think, the AI seems to be either very dumb (easy), not deep-analyzing (medium) or a real
pain in the a** when using a higher difficulty setting as it analyzes every move (hard).
