Nubia isn’t too well-known in Europe yet they have
interesting smartphones in their portfolio which can
indeed keep the pace with modern flagship models
of the well-known brands. And how they approach!

already has released their first smartphone to do so. 5G
is already launched in some countries already for usage.

showdown between Apple and Qualcomm especially with
Apple having four more chip manufacturers at hand who also
stated that Qualcomm’s practices about license fees aren’t ok!
It gets uglier and uglier in the fight between Qualcomm and Apple
But now there’s a new competitor in the house. With four new
fighters on the side of Apple, the tide may turn against Qualcomm.
Not less than 27 billion(!) US$ are on stake here!
This may not be a good day for Qualcomm at all!

it seems as if Apple sees some light in the case.
Qualcomm demands patent royalties from Apple.
It seems as if Qualcomm tries to squeeze out
money from Apple wherever possible. Their
newest lawsuit case is about 31 million US$
for three patent infringements.
Everything’s 5G. That’s the motto for this years’ MWC
in Barcelona. LTE Next Gen is THE standard when it
comes to high-bandwidth data throughput for mobiles.
So it’s not a big surprise that every major brand goes 5G.
The Fight between Apple and Qualcomm is still ongoing but
Apple found a way to circomvent the sale prohibition spoken
in favor to Qualcomm in December 2018. Now you can get the
“old” series iphones again using Qualcomm modems.

As FTC yesterday stated, the evidence against Qualcomm
is overwhelming yet hasty conclusions are not to be made!
The case to be fully analyzed will definitely take some time!
Well, the fight isn’t fought yet. While Qualcomm is
probably celebrating it’s win in the first step against
Apple, Apple itself has today announced to file an
appeal against the verdict that has been issued.
Apple is no longer allowed to sell iPhones in Germany!
The models iPhone 7, 8 and X are no longer allowed to
be sold directly by Apple! The reason is a lawsuit filed
in Germany for Apple infringing Qualcomm patents.
A new level in the fight between Qualcomm and Apple
has been reached. Qualcomm is seeking for a sale ban
of certain iPhone models. Affected are iPhone 7,8 and
the X. The XS, XS Max and XR are not affected.
Apple and Qualcomm seem to have trouble in their
partnership especially after Qualcom has sued Apple
for patent infringements. As of now it seems as if
Apple will stop using Qualcomm’s network chips.
Seems as if Nokia has great plans: As Windows Mobile 8 becomes a success
more and more on the new Lumia series, Nokia seems to have decided to
bring out a tablet with Windows 8 . However it’ll be hard competing against
Samsung and Apple who control 80% of the tablet market these days.
Long time, the iPhone 4 has dominated the display resolution field. The
astonishing display resolution of 326 ppi in Apple’s famous Retina display
was unmatched and it kept the crown for about 15 months. Today HTC has
announced the HTC Vigor. It’s 4.3 inch display seems to put one on top!
