Usually, Boards tend to acoustically notify you about a forecoming collapse.
The following video shows that a shelf, that has worked fine for 31 years, can
instantly collapse without further notice. In that case, more than 6000 wine
bottles crashed and flooded the market with lots of wine.

Today, the phone gets 150 years old. Johann Philipp Reis, a german physicist and inventor
brought out a device that was able to transmit sound using an apparatus that simulates the
ear. The receiver is getting the emitted electric pulses from the sending unit that has a tube
to catch the sound. in 1861 he publicly presented his communication-invention.

I bet you have wondered why it became so silent on my blog where every day
had at least one entry. Well… I had a very sad moment on Tuesday, October
18th when my dad died very surprisingly almost at noon to Tuesday. Therefore
I was in mourning for the last week and decided not to blog for that time.

Have you ever wondered about the strange antennas you can see when you travel from
munich to Zurich via Lindau and are about to reach Buchloe? Well, I also have asked
myself what that strange antenna-buildup is for. A research on Wikipedia finally answered
my question and brought up some interesting information.

This really shocking video comes from Foshan, China. In midst of a shopping
strip, a two years old girl is walking on the street. The driver of a small van
however did not see the girl or ignored her for whatever reason. He probably
heard a damped thump and stopped…

Today I have read an article on c’t that the Leibniz Rechenzentrum in Munich is about to
build up a new building that shall house a new 3 PFlops/s supercomputer that is being
built up with 14’112 SandyBridge-EP processors providing 112.896 cores for calculation.
If it goes online next year, it could be #2 on the Top500 list. The leader does 8 PFlops/s.

I hate grey days. They make me somewhat depressive! So here’s some
video stuff for you to sweeten the week’s start although weather appears to
be grey and cold. That’s autumn! The steps to wintertime aren’t far away any-
more. I am interested to see how much snow this year may come down (if any).

Yesterday, Rosiv has shown me impressive videos of lightshow projected on
landmarks. These lightshows mostly try to integrate into the structure well and
thus add a 3D effect on it. On August 19th and 20th 2011 at Georgentor in
Dresden there was the Intel Visibly Smart Experience Lightshow 3D .

So, this is the sunday post of me realizing that Rosiv is back in Munich again. Strange but yet
normal: You really miss good friends when they return to their home. Knowing that it will
take some months until you see them again. Well, the weekend was a real nice change to the
average days and discovering some Geocaches also made some fun although we didn’t…

Although The one day was real short for a tour thru Bern, I decided to show Rosiv
some places I really like about Bern. So our tour mostly went thru the old town of
Bern. Starting at Zytglogge walking down to the Münster then going on to the
Bärengraben. Later we went down to the Matte (a borough of Bern) to the Aare.

October 14th, Munich 5a.m. – What’s so special about this time and date?
Well, Rosiv is waiting for getting his hands on the new iPhone 4S and decided to

approx 100 metres of people! (300 upon a blog entry). YIKES!

Barkeeping can be a real hard job especially when you’re serving drinks in a
crowded bar and many people are ordering multiple drinks at once. In the
Martini Bar at Constellation hotel, a barkeeper got an idea how to solve the time
issue and “invented” a good way how to serve multiple drinks in one serve!

When browsing on Wikipedia and reading an article on Palto Alto, CA, I also
stumbled over Logitech who have a headquarter in Palo Alto. So I thought,
hey, why not read about Logitech once in a while. During my reading I noticed,
that in Japan, Loitech seems to be “Logicool” and thought of a plagiarism.

Okay, it’s well-known that Apple has released the iOS5 update today. I hooked
my iPhone to my laptop as well and wanted to apply the update. Nothing special
you think because Apple=Plug it in, switch on and you’re done! Sounds nice but
ain’t always the truth. So here’s my update-odyssey of my iPhone 4 to iOS5…

Turkeys are shy birds… indeed. However one bird, called the “Terrible Tim”
seems to have found a place to live in a domestic environment yet seems to
live the turkey habits such as “pecking-order” and the usual wildlife habits,
turkeys tend to have when in a wildlife areal.

Nothing special, you may say? I agree with you in most times. You see them almost on
every fair, even at parties they appear more and more. So why this blog entry then if
they’re not so special? Since these gingerbread-hearts get manufactured by machine
more and more, all that has to be done, is the sugar-frame and inscript to be applied to it.

…which old witch, the wicked witch. And so on… Well, the song, originally seen
in Naked Gun 2½, is played by a piano player in a bar where Drebin and his
(ex)-spouse(?) are on a drink. The piano player then starts singing the above
mentionned title in a real funny way.

Impossible, you say? Well, seems not. In Switzerland at higher exposed locations, the
temperatures have dropped below zero. Snow fell down under 1000 metres and in some
locations, the fresh snow amount was 70 cm and up. A cold wave from the north brought
polar air to the south over Europe and temperatures have dropped by 15 to 25 °C.

So there I am. 33 years old. Let’s see what the new year will bring to me. At least I will
have a great party this friday. Not only because a good friend of mine is visiting me.
But also DJing is on the plan together with my bro. So there’s a lot of prework to do yet!
Hopefully everything will work out the way I want and my friends will have a good time!

While reading on my favourite news portal again I found something stunning but

It seems Microsoft is in need of a VoIP and Web-telephony specialist. The

Microsoft itself has a network-based telephony service called Lync (which I

Today I read a rather shocking news about the most famous comic family.
It seems as if 20th Century Fox is about to turn off the lights in the Simpsons

costs have increased while the series is on deficit. Also the voice actors…
