Seems as if cell providers in the USA had it with their “cheating” customers.
According to a new law that will be active from January 26th 2013, SIM-
unlocking is considered a felony and will be punished after a trial period of
90 days. Penalties of 2500 US$ or even up to multiannual imprisonment!

Today, the phone gets 150 years old. Johann Philipp Reis, a german physicist and inventor
brought out a device that was able to transmit sound using an apparatus that simulates the
ear. The receiver is getting the emitted electric pulses from the sending unit that has a tube
to catch the sound. in 1861 he publicly presented his communication-invention.

Well… I still wonder why reception of all kinds of cell phone services is still so bad!
Not that I really would miss my Cell Phone anyways… But updating my Blog can
be a real pain in the a** when my Cell Phone is either signalling “no Service” or so
weak Networks so that Upload attempts of actual articles tend to fail…
