AMD fights back… and seems to be successful. While NVidia is currently
promoting it’s TITAN Z series GPU (2x Titan Black), AMD goes ahead with
a dual 295X GPU card. The tremendous heat dissipation of 500 watts is
managed by a pre-mounted watercooling solution from Asetek.

SanDisk has announced it’s 128GB microSDXC and Hynix seems to
have built the first 128GB(!) DDR4 memory stripe.

As usual I am in front row when new things have to be tested. In this case it’s
cablecom and their new internet packages. The bandwidth has been ordered
(250/15) and was instantly set up. Not more then one hour did I have to wait
to benefit from the new speed. The speedtest.net result speaks for itself…

Not only can unspeakable names cause trouble during communication but
also when it comes to official documents that simply don’t have enough
space to write out an entire surname. In this case, a 54 years old woman
from Hawaii had to deal with the very same problem for years.

Here we go again, and it looks bad for Germany to process an Anti-Spy-Act
with the USA. Susan Rice has officially stated that the USA are NOT willing
to give a non-spying warranty in the future and thus create a precedence
case for other countries to demand such from the USA.

Funny enough to see that it takes 2 minor releases ’til Microsoft recognizes
that you’d better not change a running system. While Windows 8 is a real
goalgetter on tablets and touchscreen notebooks, it cannot get ground on
stationary PCs and classic notebooks. Win7 makes it’s rounds there.

It was time to upgrade my cell phone as the iPhone 4 was on it’s way to
complete the 4th year of service. Don’t get me wrong – the iPhone 4 is
still an outstanding device. But you notice that iOS7 is giving it serious
headache. Apps start sluggish and iOS7 drags power as hell.

Once more it seems as if the end of HDD isn’t reached yet. Have we stated,

to squeeze 2 TB into a 9.5mm high HDD case which is just amazing.

If it has ever been a concern to you if Nokia is outdoors capable, this story

Ever thought of a restaurant where you sit on a toilet bowl? Or even eat

The result looks quite disturbing yet funny, however it may not hit

Windows 8.1 is out. With it, the start button came back (although the function is

Nokia more and more combines with Microsoft. Another big indicator

closure of SymbianOS is a bit odd since all LowCost-Nokias use it!
