So the weekend is almost gone again! Really sad to see three days to pass by so quickly.
It makes me feel kinda sad to leave my friends in Munich again and go back to the usual
workload week in Bern. But hey, no work, no effort, no money, honey! So best to put all
my energy into the next work week and do the best to visit my friends in Munich again.

Well, apparently it seems that my iPhone won’t connect to ANY form of network right now,
so my updates will be online on sunday/monday. Sorry for that inconvenience. But hey,
this blog won’t be dead because of this. So what’s coming around today? Well… despite the
fact that this ghastly coldness also is present in Munich, I took the chance to shop a bit.

This weekend I am going to Munich again and also see a good friend of mine who celebrates
his 30th birthday. Odd to see some frosting in a train car that is heated up to felt 25°C. Due
to the lack of a stable cell network and the repeated non-working status of the local cell
networks I’ll upload the pictures later on. Funny to see the snow blowing into the coach.

Well, I must say, i love winter! As most as the other seasons! But what I really hate is
coldness below the magical -10 °C spot. The sibiric air stream that transports cold air to
most parts of Europe has made the thermometer to freeze in and and many facilities to
fail working properly. Amongst these are public transportation and other public services.

There are things that cannot correlate with each other. And in the internet your words can
always be read by people you’d better not wanna face. In this case a young couple from
UK has used twitter to fork out some black humor and celebrate their holidays by
“destroying” the USA and “exhuming” Madonna. Their holidays wne into a horror trip!

It seems as if Nintendo plans an own Online store for the WiiU. This way, Nintendo follows
the steps of Microsoft and Sony. Talking about the XBox. The new XBox 720 should be more
powerful (30 times) as the XBox 360 and 6 times more powerful as the WiiU. However
the sale of used games will be prohibited so that your game is tied to your console.

Usually I don’t do many reviews on gadgets and hardware. In this case I could not resist
to tell you about an item one could desperately need when the cell phone squeaks and
begging for power. You all know that crappy situation: You’re out for party etc. and you
want to show your friends some cool stuff. What happens? No more battery!

According to the blog entry from yesterday (read here), Wikipedia has indeed
put Wikipedia into blackout. Where you would usually see the main page of
Wikipedia, there’s now a black page criticizing the new legislation about SOPA
copyright and the attempt to put the free internet “behind bars”.

This guy had a great idea how to automatize the flip of a newspaper page.
Just with the sip of his coffee mug, he starts off a big chain reaction and finally
the page is turned. Although I prefer a less destructive way for turing a page…
However the idea is nce and the video is nicely made. But watch for yourself.

People need thrill, people need excitement. Our today’s fun activities allow
exactly this. But what happens if even the most secure technic begins to fail
for no known reason. The following video shows a 22-years-old australian
woman who survived a 350 ft plummet into Zambezi river.

The CES is just a few days ahead, but Broadcom already announced to release
WiFi-chips that are compatible to the all-new 802.11ac standard. So what does
that mean to you as customer? The first thing is that the fastest WLAN-routers
and dongles can handle 450 Mbit/s at most which means 50-80 Mbit in real.

Today I thought: Would it be possible to push the AI back into the utmost

Just for aesthetic reasons? I played almost 30 rounds to find out!
Mostly I ran into stalemate or checkmated it before my goal!

It seems as if the new southern island GPUs are right on track when you read first reviews
about them. My favourite GPU test site Guru3D has checked on these and even managed
to do a Crossfîre scaling test with the new 7970 GPU. The results are promising and it
seems that the power consumption has been held in place or even dropped a little.

After a real fancy night out. I am back to the business and keep this place busy as always.
Hope you all have enjoyed New Year’s Eve and slipped into 2012 without any problems.
My “night” ended at 06:30 and gave me the chance to get home with the public
transportation service and not by taxi (which is awfully expensive in Switzerland!)

The Ninth Circuit Court for Appeals in the USA has put down a lawsuit of many private

So this was it for this year’s christmas. Another 366 days for the kids to count down until
christmas 2012. You know, they foretell that on December 20th, 2012 the world will go

think they’re just bad tales such as other world’s end scenarios in the past?

presents. How do you handle christmas present time? Do your kids open them today?

Do you feel the christmas spirit yet? No? Well here in Berne, snowfall keeps on and
making the landscape white. Just as one would wish for christmas. But on the other
hand it worries to see that the temperatures increase again and letting the snow melt
before christmas will arrive. This year’s winter is a bit odd in my opinion.

So it is winter… finally! Every year the people are hoping for snow for christmas here in Bern.
This year it’s a bit late as the last two days were the only days where we got 10cm of snow!
Although show is a synonym for delayed traffic, cars, busses, trams, no matter what, people
should usually know how to prepare for it and try to reduce delay times as good as possible.

At a rate of 10 dollars per share, they issued 100 million shares which brought 1 billion dollars

So how will the stock perform? On monday we will see if the stock is still up to code!

All you’ve got to do is to fork out about 65’000 simoleons. Quite expensive

Yikes! When you think of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche & Co., you also think of $$$!
And lots of them! On December 4th, 13 cars were part of an accident due to massively

estimated 150 km/h. And even the wet and slippery street did not stop them to do so!

Racism, hatred… face it! Wherever you go, there’s at least someone who lives
