So this was it for this year’s christmas. Another 366 days for the kids to count down until
christmas 2012. You know, they foretell that on December 20th, 2012 the world will go
down as the mayan calendar has said. Do you believe in such ancient forecasts or do you
think they’re just bad tales such as other world’s end scenarios in the past?

If you ask me, I am also not believing that the world comes to an end at exactly that day? Why should it?

Some points why it couldn’t happen:

1. Aliens haven’t been spotted yet and I don’t think, there’s something faster than light yet. So if no signals within one lightyear have been spotted, then time’s up already!

2. The climate is not well, yes, however there’s noting too worse that it could eradicate the whole world at exactly that day!

3. Mankind is too afraid to have not yet made some precautions to protect itself from any bigger impacts

4. As far as scientists have calculated Space asteroids and other larger comets, there’s not a big chance that such a big rock could hit earth within the next year.

5. The tales about the CERN and the black hole are just made up. So far it isn’t possible to create black holes. That would be playing god!

Any other ideas why earth won’t come to an end at 20.12.2012?
