I really like nature videos. One fact is that it’s amazing how nature itself is
dealing with unexprected changes and the other is how tiny little critters
are fightimg a bigh behemoth. In this video you’ll see how japanese bees
are finishing off a big hornet. 30 Hornets can kill 30’000 bees in 3 hours!

The sun for most of us is nothing more than a big glaring ball in the sky that
spends light, warmth and sunburns. However with the right equipment, you
will see things on the surface of the un that simply is stunning. The satellite
“SDO” has spotted and filmed a firestorm on September 25th, 2011.

So you think your private data stored on your smartphone is secure? No one
can get access to your phone anyways? You have an antitheft-system active?
Well good to know that you seem to have taken all precautions to stop others
to access your smartphone and it’s data. But did you know that’s not enough?

There are several signs out in the world that makes you either ask yourself
or trying to figure out why that particular sign has been put up. In a toilet
in Korea, a guide sign has been put up however the pictograms are rather
odd and make you also laugh a bit. One pictogram took my attention!

YES! This man must have had a crappy week’s start. All looks normal at first
but things start to turn when he smashes the trash can (for obviously no
recognizable reason) and then also continues his wrath-driven actions on the
on the home-owner’s mailbox. Needs for sure some power to break the pole.

It seems as if Apple takes user complaints serious now. As there are Apps
which seem to misuse the UDID (Unique Device ID) to send unsilicited Ads
and spam, Apple has now updated their privacy policy. So are Apps now
no longer allowed to use the UDID for advertisement mechanisms.

So… did you all set your clocks one hour ahead? I didn’t have to deal with that as
my clocks are all radio-controlled and thus set theirselves automatically. The only
thing I noticed that club owners had to deal with one hour less and close earlier.
So when you go to work, you may start off in the dark but return with sun!

It takes much today to make me “Wowzer” about an item in the IT business.
Logitech managed to do so. That’s why I want to give you a preview about
Logitech’s new Touch Mouse M600 and how it performs with an average
computer user like me. Writing this article I am already using the new mouse.

Itseems as if Microsoft is also experimentig with new touchscreen techniques.
While most touchscreen devices act a bit sluggish (rubberband-effect), the new
prototype of Microsoft’s touchscreen does not show such extreme behaviour.
It’s impressive, how responsive the display acts upon different finger touches.

No, this ain’t just another stupid iPad-is-cool blogentry. It’s more of a weekend
sweetener. The shown spot is not to be taken serious in any way. However the
idea is cool and makes me smile. As the spot is done really good and almost no
flaws are seen within. And best of all: her expression -> PRICELESS!

Although I really appreciate other manufacturers to come up with good alter-
atives to Apple’s new iPad, I still fear that some manufacturers seem to seek
for the thrill of being sued by Apple for design patent violations. The newest
tablet from Huawei, the MediPad FHD seems to make no exception here.

The new portable HDDs in the classic 2,5″ size are now upgraded and hold 2TB
of data. With this size one could fit a music archive of approx 240.000 Songs
or 117.000 RAW images with 17MP resolution. This is possible as WD has fit
4 platters into a 15mm high case. This HDD comes only as external USB3.0.

It seems as if german internet users still don’t have to fear a two strikes rule as
it is already applied in France or Great Britain. German ISPs don’t want to spy
on their users and inform them about copyright infringement. This seems to be
a severe Drawback for ACTA. Especially 1&1 as the biggest ISP is against it!

in Simcity 3000 (published in 1998). I’m a big fan, who has played the original.
