What looks promising at first seems too good to be true. However the idea or
concept to bring touchscreen-operated devices to the visual impaired may be
weird too? Why would someone use a touchscreen-device if he/she can’t see
what is on it. Okay, the idea is cool but the practical usage is not yet proven.

If you ever thought, kitchen devices, such as fridges are the only thing that are
connected to the internet, well, think again because AGA has given an oven the
functionality to be operated from the web. Although I see some sort of risk in
this (despite virae that may attack the OS interface of it), it may be a cool gadget.

As you might have noticed, I made some changes to my blog. My blog is active
and living. And with it, also the techniques usable to this date will also take place
here. As you probably noticed when using an outdated browser, you will see a
green ribbon show up to update your browser. See my blog yesterday, why!

Again, it seems as I have discovered some lacks in Microsoft’s IE. The browser
seems not able to handle CSS3 up to version 9 properly. The result? A really odd
looking button and pagination buttons. This blog will show you what happens,
when browsers do not comply with actual HTML and CSS standards.

much of a change and the day went by rather quiet! maybe the fact that this
year, April fool has been on a sunday, that’s why not much has happened…
At least there were some April fools but you probably didn’t hear much.

It takes much today to make me “Wowzer” about an item in the IT business.
Logitech managed to do so. That’s why I want to give you a preview about
Logitech’s new Touch Mouse M600 and how it performs with an average
computer user like me. Writing this article I am already using the new mouse.

photo editing never been a topic on older cellphones (probably
due to the weak CPUs) do newer cellphones allow photo editing.

Seems that the newest OS of Apple will be called “Mountain Lion”. After “Snow lepard” it’s a
logic sequence. Seems Apple has been into felines recently if you look at the naming of all
OSX versions. But hey, it’s only creative I think, especially when you look up the
codenames for Windows: XP=Whistler, Vista=Longhorn, Seven=Vienna.

Something to do on weekends when not being stressed out at maximum? Chilling for
example or doing housekeeping stuff. Or maybe also meeting familiy/friends? Well,
whatever the decision is of what to do, one could be grateful if he gets the chance to do so.
Time will get more valuable each day passes by. Had to notice it myself…

Valentine’s day, the day, where many men promise to spend the day with their dairling.
But also the industry is waiting for this day. Not only Christmas seems to be a cash cow
of the modern society. Also Valentine’s day appears to be of great importance for the
present industry. tons of flowers, lots of jewellery and tons of valentine cards are handed.

so my updates will be online on sunday/monday. Sorry for that inconvenience. But hey,
this blog won’t be dead because of this. So what’s coming around today? Well… despite the
fact that this ghastly coldness also is present in Munich, I took the chance to shop a bit.

I really like impressive videos. This video is a timelapse series about Yosemite
Park. Nature “filmed” with a professional camera looks real beautiful and

the pictures into a really nive video scenery. Watch for yourself and enjoy!

What sounds near impossible to you, seems to have come true because of the endurance
of an amateur craftsman. His idea was to enhance a simple LED nightlight from Ikea with
a bluetooth controller and make it controllable with his android phone. Doesn’t work?
It sure does. And on his blog, you get the source code and instructions for your ideas!

After a big uproar about PIPA worldwide, the US Senate has set out the ballot for the
PIPA law that would have led the internet into more and more censoring than now.
The most actual case of protest has come from the english Wikipedia, who has blacked
out it’s site for 24 hours between Wednesday and Thursday. With success ans you see now!

Usually I don’t do many reviews on gadgets and hardware. In this case I could not resist
to tell you about an item one could desperately need when the cell phone squeaks and
begging for power. You all know that crappy situation: You’re out for party etc. and you
want to show your friends some cool stuff. What happens? No more battery!

This guy had a great idea how to automatize the flip of a newspaper page.
Just with the sip of his coffee mug, he starts off a big chain reaction and finally
the page is turned. Although I prefer a less destructive way for turing a page…
However the idea is nce and the video is nicely made. But watch for yourself.

Okay, you all know about FullHD. Nothing much to explain here. Quad FullHD
with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels is about to come to us (also known as 4k)
BBC and NHK think, that Quad FullHD isn’t satisfying enough for the upcoming
London Olympic games in 2012. SHV (Super Hi-Vision) is the answer!

Today I thought: Would it be possible to push the AI back into the utmost

So… Apple again. Rumors say that the new iPad 3 will be presented on February 24th, as
it is the birthday of Steve Jobs who passed away this year on October 5th. What’s most
interesting, is that there are also plans for a small form-factor iPad with a 7inch screen.
It’s probably only a rumor but hey, other companies have all sizes in their portfolio!

Well, the weather is kinda odd this year. Horror news about increasing climatic temps,
more greenhouse gas effect and the ongoing pollution of the earth are probably the

temperatures are rather mild for November. So hopefully winter will still come.

This story describes how the webcam got invented. A small idea grown during

It seems that this young man has spent much time on his NES/SNES.
Why? Because he’s very good at replaying the tunes of the various games on
