Firefox officially goes 29

Firefox_LogoFirefox has released the new version of it’s browser. With Version 29 there
are a bunch of new things to look at: The Interface has been redesigned and
is now called “Australis”. Thus you’ll probably have noticed that the big

Firefox 64bit is now Waterfox

Where the Mozilla project has dropped the 64bit support on Firefox, a small
team of developers has picked up the idea again to release the newest version
of firefox in 64bit. This Firefox fork has the Social API included (which is also
used by Facebook messenger) and the JS-just-in-time-compiler IonMonkey!

Firefox 8 released…

There it is, the shiny new version of Firefox. Overhauled with new features, an
improved display engine and a faster javscript engine this new version shall
bring a new browser experience. However have not many users digested the
sixth major release, the seventh is still much propagated.

Firefox goes 9… and goes Tablet!

Okay, Mozilla Firefox is currently known to be the second Google Chrome
concerning release speed of major releases… While I have just posted that
Firefox 7 is released and 8 is currently in beta status, Mozilla seems to work
on the next version also. The new things? Tablet support! Sounds great!

Firefox in a new version available…

So… there we have it… the new version of Firefox… AGAIN! Not only have
I updated to Version 6 only 1 month ago, no, I also had to update all the
plugins as well and not every plugin has been transcoded to be compatible
with version 6 yet. I understand the frustration of users AND programmers!

Today, The Mozilla foundation announced that Version 6 of their famous
browser is being released. Impressive, I say, have I upgraded to
