I really like impressive videos. This video is a timelapse series about Yosemite
Park. Nature “filmed” with a professional camera looks real beautiful and
moving, too! A young team has made effort to take the timelapse series and put
the pictures into a really nive video scenery. Watch for yourself and enjoy!

While in Goms, Switzerland the snow already stacks up to 2.5 metres, one
would think, it’s unbelievable. In Japan, however, the mountains and the ocean
weather streams allow much higher snow records. up to 15(!) metres the snow
may pile up there and the streets are still passable. You don’t believe it?

The weather in Switzerland could not be more different. While
villages in higher regions are almost cut off from the rest of the
country due to heavily snow-blocked roads, in other regions a
storm called “Andrea” brought rain and heavy winds.

Comets can be rarely seen and in the past, there were not many pics or even videos
available. However in the change of time, more and more equipment makes it possible
to catch these rare moments when extraterrestial events occur, such as falling stars.
A brasilian observatory has put such a timeshifting video online for your pleasure.

So it is winter… finally! Every year the people are hoping for snow for christmas here in Bern.
This year it’s a bit late as the last two days were the only days where we got 10cm of snow!
Although show is a synonym for delayed traffic, cars, busses, trams, no matter what, people
should usually know how to prepare for it and try to reduce delay times as good as possible.

Well… it’s december now but when you look outside, the green meadows and
rather warm temperatures don’t make you feel the winter coming at all. Now
while Switzerland usually tends to have the first snow in November-beginning
this year the snow has some hold-up. Maybe a hint from global warming?

Well, the weather is kinda odd this year. Horror news about increasing climatic temps,
more greenhouse gas effect and the ongoing pollution of the earth are probably the
cause for this year’s winter to start later. Or finally never… who knows. At least the
temperatures are rather mild for November. So hopefully winter will still come.

Not less than 55 days, 12.255 miles, and over 200’000 pictures later,
a so-called time-lapse video showing a roundtrip from New York (NY)
south to Florida (FL) then west to California (CA) north to Washington (WA) and
then east back to New York has been made up. Travel the USA in 5 minutes!

You all know this. It’s around mid of November and the environment
starts to be everyday in grey. Cold temperatures of about 5
degrees, fog, moist and slippery sidewalks make you wanna

Today I spotted a video that made me think about reptiles again. Well, in Spain
it seems, some snakes prefer the money output slot to hold a rest or something
else they’re doing in there. At least a viper is a poisonous snake and you’d
prefer not to be bitten by such one. Especially not when you’re on vacation.

People eat different food on different continents. You probably have heard of
people eating worms, locusts and other rather disgusting “meals”. In this case
it seems that the video channel ownler likes fresh and live food!

Apple has done many lawsuits in the past. And one was about their logo where
it was hard for me to find similarities that may infringe with patents or copy-
rights of the Apple company in Cupertino (read here). This time I think, they’ve
gone too far! A small tea room owner got sued for her logo she has patented.

Although The one day was real short for a tour thru Bern, I decided to show Rosiv
some places I really like about Bern. So our tour mostly went thru the old town of
Bern. Starting at Zytglogge walking down to the Münster then going on to the
Bärengraben. Later we went down to the Matte (a borough of Bern) to the Aare.

Turkeys are shy birds… indeed. However one bird, called the “Terrible Tim”
seems to have found a place to live in a domestic environment yet seems to
live the turkey habits such as “pecking-order” and the usual wildlife habits,
turkeys tend to have when in a wildlife areal.

Impossible, you say? Well, seems not. In Switzerland at higher exposed locations, the
temperatures have dropped below zero. Snow fell down under 1000 metres and in some
locations, the fresh snow amount was 70 cm and up. A cold wave from the north brought
polar air to the south over Europe and temperatures have dropped by 15 to 25 °C.

Yesterday I decided again to visit the Gurten, a local mountain of Bern. Very
quickly to reach thanks to the excellent public mass transit system and even

Why write about a cat? Or even post a video about it. Cats are ordinary pets.
All good arguments and true but this feline is a real special one. This cat
brings her holder to a metro station in Melbourne and waits for her until
the evening. The whole day… and without any trouble. Heart-touching I say!

You all know the theory that light is the fastest possible “element” existing.
Albert Einstein has described in 1916 that nothing can be faster than the
light itself. Hereby the famous formula E=mc² has been created in which the
speed of light is measured to be exactly 299’792.658 km per second.

…that’s what you would think of if you read these values: 6.4 metres long,

considered vicious and being described as a real beast!

Italy’s most active vulcan Etna is active again. The vulcan is situated on Sicily

Today I stumbled over a really frightening article on my favourite news portal.
You all know wasps. Tiny yellow-black, really annoying buzzers whose stings can be
real painful. They bother you when you’re eating, they bother you even when you’re
just sunbathing. So what am I talking about now? Anything bigger? A hornet? Nope!!!

While news have spread the word, a hurricane is on it’s way to the upper east coast of
the USA. They say that the storm is a category 3 storm that may also reach category 4.
With 1300 km diameter (that’s pretty large if you ask me!) it is also dangerous to a large
area. Well… in New York and New Jersey, there’s big evacuation and alert!
