What’s up, Captain?
For all those who wonder, why they see only a blank page on
Captain Campus’ site. The Captain is redesigning his blog. So stay tuned
when the new blog comes online again. It’ll take some days but I guess it’s
worth the wait!

Hey y’all! I know it’s been a long time since my last post here bt my work is
keeping me very busy lately and in the evening I retunrn home very
exhausted not willing to turn on the computer anymore or only to do some
online gaming! This blog’s still alive and will be as long as I keep my site!
I am off my computers for several days so if there are some posts between
today and May, 20th, they will probably have no images within as I am
armed with my iPad only and thus have no possibility to add videos and
limited capacity to add pics. But from May 21st, I’ll be back completing them!
Another year gone. 32 years. However nothing to be worried about. Have a
nice day and party, Pianoman! Enjoy the day and all the best for the new
bithday year. May all your wishes, plans and dreams come true! And cheers
to another year of party, fun and blogging!
There I finally arrived at Hannover and finally at Celle, to meet up with Pianoman
and his girlfriend. The evening was just great to meet up with Pianoman’s cousin
and her family. Seeing Celle makes me a bit remembering Berne as well. The old
town is just lovely with all these half-timbered houses. Just impressive to look at!
The World Wide Web has lots of real useless crap on it, mostly spam! But
there alre also some gems out there which should be mentionned. That’s
why I take focus on Captain Campus’ blog today which will be a new source
for fun stuff filtered out for you. Welcome to the Blogger’s community, pal!
Rosiv decided to bring his blog back online to share his thoughts, ideas and
annotations with you. unlike my blog, his blog is written in german only. But
it’s still worthwhile to read and I can recommend it to you without any hesi-
tation. his blog will, like mine, deal with all kinds of topics.
it was great but I guess I got a little too much of the good stuff. Some head-
ache and some strange feeling when walking… and the weekend’s over again
Dang! Hate to leave so quick again. Now I have 6 hours of traveling ahead of
me and for sure a very unstable cell network as it is always!
Time to spend a weekend in Munich again, with my friends. So it’s again the
good ol’ train that will rock me there in 6 hours. Hopefully! But my fears
were without a reason. The travel worked fine. Going from Bern to Basel
Departing in time from there… had a 6 minutes Delay in Freiburg…
So… now again one year has passed and the next jubilee birthday is just 365
days away… sigh… well, gotta have to do the best of it. Thanks to all who sent
me SMS, WhatsApp Messages, Facebook posts etc. as bday greetings. I still
have no idea how to celebrate my jubilee anyways.
Sunday, funday? Not really… the weekend is all over again *sigh*
Time to get home and begin the everyday-life again. It has been a great
weekend and I want to say “Thank you” to all who contributed that these
three days have been so worthful waiting for. See you next time again…
When you go by train with Deutsche Bahn, the sentence above is one of these
you´ll hear at each station the train is about to stop. Annoying when the train
is late (again!). In my case just that happened. I am sorry that my blog entry
didn´t show up yesterday as intended. But it´s the cellphone net, you know…
Ever wondered about the QR-Tags that are visible to the left of my blog?
When you have someone around who wants to know what you’re reading
on my blog, let them have it instantly. No copy&Paste of the URL into
the other’s cell phone, no mail, no SMS. A QR scanner is all he/shee needs!
So that’s it! Time to take the train back to Bern, time to get back to work and time
to wait another 365 days to celebrate with Pianoman. Now it’s time to face the
“enemy”, called Deutsche Bahn, again and hopefully coming home in time. But I
am confident that everything will go well as this train is operated by the SBB…
So… Now Pianoman has hit the 31st bday. Time to celebrate his special day and
enjox the other people joining us. For this reason there won’t be anything posted
today as my status will probably go from plain ordinary to ordinary drunken.
Expect serious updates on Monday again! PARTYTIME!!! YEAH!
It seems as if the blog system seems to deal with some issues. My posts from the weekend
have not been posted automatically as set up. So I’ll have to check out that happened.
This may take a while as I am not well and at home curing from disease. Hope to be back
with you fellow readers as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience.
It has been quite a long time since Rosiv’s blog went offline
for technical difficulties. Unfortunately, he was unable to
restore his old blog entries anymore as it would lead into
instant breakdown of his fresh blog install.
Well, apparently it seems that my iPhone won’t connect to ANY form of network right now,
so my updates will be online on sunday/monday. Sorry for that inconvenience. But hey,
this blog won’t be dead because of this. So what’s coming around today? Well… despite the
fact that this ghastly coldness also is present in Munich, I took the chance to shop a bit.
So that’s all for 2011 now. I will celebrate New years Eve with my family! So the
updates on this blog are probably a bit delayed! To all my loyal and truthful
readers I wish a happy new year, some happy hours spending the time at your
local clubs and/or celebrating with your beloved ones!
Do you feel the christmas spirit yet? No? Well here in Berne, snowfall keeps on and
making the landscape white. Just as one would wish for christmas. But on the other
hand it worries to see that the temperatures increase again and letting the snow melt
before christmas will arrive. This year’s winter is a bit odd in my opinion.
So, this is the sunday post of me realizing that Rosiv is back in Munich again. Strange but yet
normal: You really miss good friends when they return to their home. Knowing that it will
take some months until you see them again. Well, the weekend was a real nice change to the
average days and discovering some Geocaches also made some fun although we didn’t…
Although The one day was real short for a tour thru Bern, I decided to show Rosiv
some places I really like about Bern. So our tour mostly went thru the old town of
Bern. Starting at Zytglogge walking down to the Münster then going on to the
Bärengraben. Later we went down to the Matte (a borough of Bern) to the Aare.

October 14th, Munich 5a.m. – What’s so special about this time and date?
Well, Rosiv is waiting for getting his hands on the new iPhone 4S and decided to
get in the waiting line at this time that grew until Rosengraben which means
approx 100 metres of people! (300 upon a blog entry). YIKES!
Nothing special, you may say? I agree with you in most times. You see them almost on
every fair, even at parties they appear more and more. So why this blog entry then if
they’re not so special? Since these gingerbread-hearts get manufactured by machine
more and more, all that has to be done, is the sugar-frame and inscript to be applied to it.
…which old witch, the wicked witch. And so on… Well, the song, originally seen
in Naked Gun 2½, is played by a piano player in a bar where Drebin and his
(ex)-spouse(?) are on a drink. The piano player then starts singing the above
mentionned title in a real funny way.

Hey there, my bday is coming with big steps. only 9 days until I get one year older.
Can’t believe that one year has passed by so quickly. Lots of things happened. But
what you gonna do about it except nothing or nothing? This year I didn’t travel
around with Rosiv as we did last year in Vienna. However plans are to go to…
Yep, you read right. This Blog now protects certain blog entries from being
viewed by everyone. I am following people’s requests upon privacy. As other
sites (Facebook & Co.) don’t hold it so good with privacy and publication of
intellectual goods (pics and private texts), I took one step ahead.
…and with it my stay in Munich. As it is very late now, I am going to upload the pics and
videos tomorrow. The corresponding post(s) will be updated. Please check back
tomorrow for more to come. Enjoy the rest (40 minutes) of the weekend and begin the
new week with power and good feelings!

Now the 178th Oktoberfest is officially started. The mayor of Munich traditionally has
opened the first barrel of the 2011 Oktoberfest beer in the Schottenhamel Festzelt.
Last year 6.4 million visitors have come to the 200-years-Oktoberfest (me included).
Let’s see how many people will have their throats beered this year! Enjoy!
So, finally a post of my thoughts about today’s communication methods. 15 years ago,
the communication methods were rather limited as cell phones and their price plans
were too expensive. The Internet was still in it’s development process and services like
ICQ and the like were not well-developed or ready for mass communication.
