If you wondered why our blog URL has redirected you
to dubious homepages and URLs, we can assure you
that it has hit us out of nowhere. Suddenly we had
messages and Mails from worried users.

The reason was the plugin “Yuzo Related Posts” which has been altered and then updated few hours ago although the plugin had been pulled from WordPress repository on March, 30^th.

When we got notice of the rogue behaviour of the plugin, we deactivated it and removed it entirely. So we’re sorry if you have no “Related” posts as a widget anymore. Other “Related Posts” don’t work as intended so we’re completely dropping that kind of plugin.

Once more this shows, how essential it is that you check your WordPress installation and all plugins you use to avoid having embarrassing moments or even moments where your whole blog could have been infested with malware.
