It seems as ifAMD is near release of the new generation 7 Graphics cards cards
(Codename Southern Island). So it seems as if the cards are almost the same length as their
older sisters (AMD Radeon 6xxx). However the GPU will be manufactured in 28nm process
allowing higher speeds/clocks while still decreasing power consumption.

However sparse is known about the new GPU. So it’s still some time to wait until AMD reveals its new flagships. So what will NVidia do in the meantime?

Also at NVidia, the Generation 6 cards are already queued, yet no date is known about their debut.
