Odd contests around the world? Yep, there are many of them. Cellphone
throwing, Caber tossing, Hotdog eating, water-drinking. Yes and even a
burp contest is available for your convenience. Well… most of them are
more of fun then a real challenge if properly regarded.

However there’s nothing too shameful for being put into contest mode. it seems as if Tim Janus, born in New York City has now put up an official world record burp. With the length of 18.1 seconds this is an impressive burp anyways. And speaking of that… my personal best was almost ten seconds (I was able to fill one record slot of the Nintendo DSi!). However it was sort of painful, drinking half a bottle of sparkling water and still garnish it with some air gulping down… the burp however rewarded for that anyways…
