Winamp lives… AGAIN!
In 2013 Winamp was stuck on it’s last version 5.666 and
hasn’t been developed on since then. But on last friday
the developers have reported that Winamp 5.8 has hit
the light and is released now. And that’s just the start…

Many people still want Flash Video on their homepages, however the
usability has experienced a severe drawback in the last years whereas
security issues with the Flash player plugin for several browsers have
been the main reason to move on to a new format.
It’s time, to bring the embedded video files up to code again.
As FLV seems not to be well-embeddable these days, I decided
to re-encode all previously embedded files to MP4 and have them
played back with a more modern MP4 video player based upon HTML5.
As you all know, Western Digital is the storage manufacturer
of my choice when it comes to reliability and innovation. No
other hard drive manufacturer has given me the safe feeling
about my data in the past.
