Art can be defined in various ways. In America
it seems, however, that casting anthills is common.
Some artists cast ant hills of rogue fire ants with
liquid aluminum. The result is stunning, however.
It may sound cruel to pour liquid aluminum into an ant hill especially if it contains ants as the ants are fully burned in their usually secure home.
But in this case the ants have been evicted using ant repellants and their left ant hill has then become casted with liquid aluminum in order to show what complex tunnel system is waiting underneath.
