North Korea finally in Google Maps, too!
So while the rest of the world has already been cartographed and also made
available with satellite images, North Korea was a simple plain white spot as
there were no satellite pictures allowed or cartographic material made in the
past. Now North Korea has also reached the digital cartographic age.
But why so late? Was it the regime of Kim Jong-Il that prohibited all possible form of digital exposion of the country’s interna, even geographical infrastructure?
No one knows for sure but now most of the continents are now virtually explorable and Google Street Maps allows you to travel thru some cites/country already…
