A new super car has entered the stage. Was the Bugatti
Veyron the usual star when it comes to horsepower, high
speed and massive acceleration, it sems as if Shelby is
going to take over by now. And how they do that!

First some impressions:

Nice look indeed! Instead of a big rear spoiler, Shelby uses two smaller, more decent wings which help the car to keep on track.

The whole car body looks like it has been made in the future. Minimalistic where possible yet showing that there’s a beast roaring under the hood! And what a beast we can say!

With a maximum power of 1775hp (98 octane gasoline) or 1380hp (91 octane gasoline) this car still has tremendous power to get from it’s 5.9l V8 engine. The power comes from the very complex and tuned compressor in order to achieve such high power output.

It is the first car to achieve 300+ mph (483kmph) which is a ridiculous top speed and which you may not achieve anywhere except in a long-stretched plains area or street that has to offer several kilometres without any turns.

Oh and to ask how many are produced: It’s 160 of them worldwide. So if you don’t know where to spend 1.3 million US$, this might be an idea…
