Niki Lauda has passed away. As former Formula 1
world champion (he won this title three times in his
Formula 1 career from 1971 to 1985) he was well
known by many people.
Lauda died today in the Universitätsspital Zurich after three weeks of hospitalization. He had siffered from a hemorrhagic Alveolitis and the ongoing degradation of his kidneys which made a dialysis necessary.
