The australian government hot hacked. While it is
unknown what kind of data was stolen, it is more
or less noticable that all fingers are pointed
towards China accusing them for the attemmpt.

The hacking attempts were discovered first in February, 8th and the hacked departments were the Liberal Party, the National Party of Australyia as well as the Labor party as an opposing department to the others.

Later this year, elections will be held but it’s unclear to say if these hacing attempts have anything to do with influencing the election results even way ahead to the elections.
