Unbelievable: What looks like a plot for “Hidden camera: Fun with you” is in
fact the bitter truth for a clerk in Tel Aviv who parked her car on a free
parking lot. However the city authority of Tel Aviv was a bit consternated
about her parking there and decided to make her an official parking violator.

Within several minutes the free parking lot was converted into a parking space for the disabled and as it would be a coincidence, a tow truck was just around the corner to tow away the clueless clerk’s car.

When she returned to her car she found the empty parking lot and wondered about two things: where’s her car and why is there a parking space for the disabled where none was before.

Calling the city authorities and asking them about the missing car, they told her that her car was towed away for parking violation. When she stated that she correctly has parked her car, she was insulted as a liar and fined 350 US$ for the parking violation and the tow-away.

Fortunately a security company has installed a security cam which recorded the city authority’s clerks during their conversion work.

Confronted with the situation, the city authority later gave in and excused for the insult, acknowledged the officers’ fault and discarded the fine. However the clerk is going to sue the city for fraudolent behavior.
