While in Switzerland snow dominates the current weather situation, the east
coast of the USA is facing a big tropical hurricane. Sandy, as the monster is
called is approaching and the people in New York expect massive damage.
As a result of the storm, most shops and even the Wall Street stay closed.

Still there’s not any imagination what the storm will do to the east coast but an estimated 20 billion US$ damage is expected. Besides that, it’s feared that the infrastructure will suffer a lot from the storm.

From sunday night to monday morning EST the storm is expected to hit the east coast. So let’s see what the news in Europe will report from 9a.m. onwards.
