Twitter, WordPress and OAuth

Three things that don’t like each other. Usually I liked the feature to tweet my newest posts
on my twitter account as well. However with the advanced authentication methods, Twitter
uses, it seems that WordPress gets confused and throwing all kinds of errors at you and
even worse: Not tweeting anything in your name.

When downloading WP to Twitter, it seems that the registration process for that application is not working (empty page on the twitter API new App page). Frustrating. So let’s see if I can get that to work at home with an untainted internet connection.

It can be a real hassle with some plugins that allow social media sharing. And Twitter using OAuth makes things very difficult!

*sigh*
