…how ironic to see that again a man got confined for a rather harmless
crime (DWI). The man got incarcerated into isolation confinement and
was not allowed to consult an attorney at law nor a doctor. Even worse:
He was not even allowed to take his depression-easing medicine.

A medicine that helped him with his depressions! After 2 years, the man finally was released.

The State of New Mexico will have to pay $22 million dollars to the man lately for the errors made. These include incarceration without any evidence and cruelty against paersonality.

Furthermore the suffering thru neglection and the health damage caused by denial of medication and denial of doctor consultation added up to this sum.

However no money of all the world can help to ignore the pain that has been caused to the man within his 2-years imprisonment.
