OnePlus has confirmed that the 7 Pro will have a HDR10+ capable display,
With this feature, users can enjoy HDR10+ content on their phone. Netflix
and YouTube for example deliver HDR10+ content via their online video
services already but there are no phones with HDR10+-displays yet.
So when the phone will be launched on May 14th, 2019, it will be the first phone ever that has such a high grade display. DisplayMate has rated the display with a top A+ rating. the german VDE association has also stated that the display is “Safety for Eyes” ready.
So let’s see when the phone gets launched if the rest of the hardware matches with the quality of the display.
