Inside an airplane cockpit on flight

If you ever wondered what it looks like inside an airplane cockpit and
how it can become stressful when sight for the pilots becomes worse
(especially on starting or landing) then these two videos might give
you a nice insight. Amazing how much tech keeps flying so safe now!

I also admire pilots for their skills as you need a lot of speed in decision (especially the right decision!) to keep the plane safe in the air and then land it back safely.

These videos are courtesy of 737Aviation, so enjoy!

This is the landing at PMI (Palma de Mallorca International) during heavy thunderstorm close to the airport. Thanks to the autopilot-assisted navigation the pilots can safely land the plane without much shaking. Watch the co-pilots steering correcting even the slightest deviation from the landing corridor:

The following video shows the landing approach to WRO (Copernicus Airport Wrocław) during heavy fog. In this case the landing is fulfilled completely by ILS Cat.II and autopilot as it is impossible to see the guidelights from a safe distance and make a safe landing by hand possible. Another excellent proof that without our modern technology nowadays we wouldn’t have so extremely safe flights today.

All shots are made from the cockpit of a Boeing 737-800.
