I still wonder what i should do on my upcoming 33rd birthday. I still have no plans nor
\nan idea. and there’s only 60 days left to plan someting, prepare for it and possible guests
\nand the like. Holding a birthday party can be a real hassle but on the other hand you will
\nfor sure have lots of fun later on. So I’d better start thinking about what to do…<\/p>\n
The next difficult task is that you have to invite your friends and hope to catch them at a time where they are not into lots of appointments at work or have holidays.<\/p>\n
Yeah, the past times when we were young and at school had many advantages. You had lots of time to spend free… Today, all my friends are in more or less time-consuming jobs and have more or less money on the side to spend.<\/p>\n
The geographical separation (most of my friends are located in Munich, that is 464km away from Bern) also applies some extra-difficulty.<\/p>\n
But one of the main advantages is that all of us mostly have an own flat to host at least 4 people or more. In earlier times, it gave much of a discussion with your parents if you planned to hold a bigger birthday party…<\/p>\n
However being over 18, gives you much more opportunities to celebrate your birthday while the main disadvantage can be that you can also get into trouble with police and other security authorities, if you or your friends misbehave in public.<\/p>\n
All in all, days have changed, but the thrill to have a birthday party still is there and the similarity of what to do on your birthday party hasn’t changed much.<\/p>\n
The hope that most of my friends might probably visit me on my 33rd birthday is still up and makes me looking forward to a great party. Let’s see what the time will bring up! Time to do some drafts, I guess…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
