However it&#8217;ll take some time.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->As for now, there are only 6 satellites online covering just a small part of the earth at once. To be globally available, at least 24 satellites are necessary. Each additional satellite improves the performance.<\/p>\n<p>However China plans to set up 35 satellites until 2020, GPS will still be the leading positioning system.
