The special weather conditions and<br \/>\nthe ground made it necessary to train the staff more than one year until the<br \/>\nairline flew 32 research crew members of the norwegian polar institute there!<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Although the project was a huge success, the airline won&#8217;t offer this flight route, which shall become regular, to private customers as the environment at this place is far from humane and comfortable for Joe Average.<\/p>\n<p>But the fact that such flights are now possble, make me &#8216;wowzer&#8217; big times as they&#8217;re classified as the most difficult ones.<\/p>\n<p>The other aspect of all this is: When will mankind destroy the last untouched area of earth for capitalisitc ideas?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A land so far away?
