A 6.65″ Full-HD 21:9 Screen is also onboard as well as a modem that is capable to handle all major basebands. We speak of 2G to 5G here! While FullHD is nothing special nowadays, the 144Hz refresh rate are indeed making it one of the fastest refreshing displays for smartphones to day.

The internal storage will be either 128, 256 or even a whopping 512GB. There will be no 1TB tier however as it would raise the price beyond the intended range of customers this device is aiming for. Instead the second slot is for a second SIM card to have this phone operating in two different networks (if necessary!)

The camera will be using a 64MP lens and it will be a single-lens system (which is uncommon in times for Multilens smartphones today!). But if the camera takes good images despite having multiple lenses, it’s a caveat one can live with! The Selfie camera is 16MP wich is sufficient for most usage scenarios today. Oh and speaking of the video capabilities… HOLY SHIT! This little fracker is capable of recording 8K video. Yes, you’ve read right. This phone will record videos at 7680×4320 and 30fps. Other than that, 4K video (3840×2160) is shot at 30 or 60fps while FHD video (1920×1080) can only be shot with 30fps. Really strange. However other sources report that FHD videos can be recorded with 1920fps for a stunning slowmotion camshot. This however would need a lot of CPU power. The Snapdragon 865 CPU however with it’s octacore design should allow these scenarios as well.

What about home networks and NFC? Well, you can have this phone operate with WiFi a/b/g/n/ac up to 1733Mbit/s (2,4GHz up to 600Mbit/s) and thus achieve new speed records. Bluetooth will be there in version 5.0 and support every standard aptX, A2DP and even LE profile. And for GPS you can either use GLONASS, A-GPS, BDS or GALILEO covering every major GPS system nowadays.

Sounds like the swiss army knife of smarthones to us!

Of course the screen is protected by the most recent version of Gorilla Glass 5.

So when it comes to the battery, many smartphones are a stinker and with the given specs, a standard 3500mAh battery would be sucked dry within less than 2 hours if at all!

So Nubia spent this new flagship a whopping 5700mAh battery which will also support fast-charging with average 55W and a boost charge of 80W to gain fast battery fills in less than one hour. This will however make an active fan mandatory as the battery may become hot during boost charging.

And to give this packet the final touch, the connectivity is USB-C3.1 with(!) a 3.5mm jack. So users with older cable-bound headsets won’t need an adapter to listen to their music which can also be High-Res audio with up to 384kHz@32bits

These are all impressive specs and the smartphone is supposed to be released this month. There’s no price tag however so we will need to stay patient. We guess when this smartphone will hit the european market, there will be a lot of tech sites which will lay hands on and test this lil’ bastard to see if it can compete with the flagship phones of well-known brands or even outwit them.

Here’s the Specs as a comprehensive chart:

General

Available Status: Rumored.
