As former Formula 1<br \/>\nworld champion (he won this title three times in his<br \/>\nFormula 1 career from 1971 to 1985) he was well<br \/>\nknown by many people.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Lauda died today in the Universit\u00e4tsspital Zurich after three weeks of hospitalization. He had siffered from a hemorrhagic Alveolitis and the ongoing degradation of his kidneys which made a dialysis necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Niki Lauda (*22.02.1949 &#8211; +20.05.2019)<\/p>\n<p>Rest in peace!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Niki Lauda has passed away.
