\"\"WoW is well known to gamers all around the world.
\nOn November 23rd, 2004, Blizzard has released the initial version
\nof WoW called “Vanilla”. The ingame world then consisted only of
\nKalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. That was almost 15 years ago…<\/p>\n

Now the game world of World of Warcraft is way larger and more “islands” came to life, like Pandaria, The Broken Islands, Maelstrom, Kul Tiras, Zandalar – to name the larger zones.<\/p>\n

But when I started playing WoW in 2005, I also knew the “old” world although Burning Crusade was already in the pipe and got released in January, 2007. So while playing WoW for a good 13 years now, I must say that the new worlds and the game mechanics have improved, indeed. Though the Classic times had their challenge as well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>As the fans more and more asked for the good ol’ times to return (the caves of time were only a minor replacement) Blizzard now announced to bring back the REAL thing on August 27th<\/sup>, 2019.<\/p>\n

As of yesterday, Blizzard now accepts Opt-in for the Test Realm of WoW Classic. And if you’re lucky enough, you might be able to register a classic character from May 22nd<\/sup>, 2019 when Blizzard plans the first Stress Test.<\/p>\n

    To claim your desired Name ingame on the real servers, character registration will start on August 13th as Blizzard states:<\/p>\n

    If you\u2019re eager to claim your character name in WoW Classic, take note: we\u2019ll be opening character creation on Tuesday, August 13.**<\/sup> Players with an active subscription or game time on their account will be able to create up to three characters per World of Warcraft account. We\u2019ll have more information on realm names closer to launch, but rest assured\u2014you\u2019ll have plenty of time to figure out your plans for realm domination!<\/p>\n
