Yes it did. After some consultation and the info, that Surgery is the second option in this dilemma, the doctor suggested to let things go the natural way. Without going into detail, the AirPod surfaced again after the man took some laxative.<\/p>\n

When he checked the status of his AirPod, the battery still read out 41% and the AirPod was not suffering from any mechanical or natural damage although it has resided in stomach acid for quite some time and the journey through the intestines might also not be something that puts the best on the material. So interestingly the AirPodsirvived it’s miserable journey.<\/p>\n

But the question is… would you put something into your ear again that had feces on it and was released to freedom on a public(!) toilet?<\/p>\n

But to be serious here: Don’t try this at home nor intentionally swallow your AirPods just to see if this story is true. Lithium in the body isn’t healthy, nor are the other components.
