Where I stated that 8 (EIGHT!) queens to get is<br \/>\nalmost impossible to achieve as the AI tends to get stalemate before replacing<br \/>\n7 pawns into queens? Seems as if I finally did otherwise. What previously<br \/>\nlooked like an unsolvablepuzzle, finally solved up. Not so difficult at all!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Easier than I thought and fully relaxed at the same time!<\/p>\n<p>So how does the result look like at the end?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1233 aligncenter\" title=\"20110926-151837.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.netspark.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/20110926-151837.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.netspark.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/20110926-151837.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blog.netspark.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/20110926-151837-320x480.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>8 Queens and the final move to finish the AI&#8230; couldn&#8217;t laugh more!<\/p>\n<p>These were the finishing moves when I had my last (7th) pawn turned into a queen:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u2659c7-c8\u2655+<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u265ah3-h4<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u2655c8-c3<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u265ah4-h3<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u2659b7-b8\u2655<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u265ah3-h4<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u2655a8-a3<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">\u265ah4-h3<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"> \u2655b8-h8#<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It took quite a while to position the figures in a way so that the computer has room to do moves and otherwise not to break free and kill my pawns sprinting to the top&#8230; a rook and a queen was all I needed!<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230; the question is: Will I be able to put also 9 queens on the checkerboard?
