Image shredded after auction
This is some interesting kind of protest. An image
sold at Sotheby’s auctions just started to shred
itself after it has been sold for £1 million to an
anonymous buyer. The image was made by Banksy.
He decided to protest against enormous money shifting during auctions when art is sold. So he built a shredding mechanism into the bezel and as soon as the image got sold, it would start shredding.

It is not sure however, if Banksy has started the shredding process as a potential visitor.
The main question is, how would the image detect it’s sale on an auction anyway?
