For once, all these hassles and fights seem to come to an end according to
the actual news that Apple and HTC have finally buried all open lawsuits.
For a duration of the upcoming ten years, both manufacturers have each
other granted a mutual licence on actual and upcoming patents.

What exactly was the reason for this “deal” is unknown and also which patents are covered and how much money has flown to end the trouble.

Some analysts say that it has to do with HTC’s influence on the LTE market and where Apple yet has not set big steps into. But most likely, Apple wants to aviod bein sued in the future at least by HTC. So that could be a reason for Apple to take action in advance.

So when will other manufacturers follow and do equal contracts with Apple?
