Playstation 5 shown this February?

The next-gen Playstation is still a mystery as there’s
not much known about the console’s specs. However
Sony wants to outdo it’s worst enemy: Microsoft. The
fight about the best console is still present.

According to rumors, the director (David Scott Jaffe) of “God of War” wants to know that the PS5 will be unveiled in February. His tweets leave hardly any room for speculation:

I want to say it’s the worst kept secret in games right now. February reveal like they did for PS4.

Just short after he set this tweet:

PS5 reveal is less than 4 weeks away. Sony knows hard core gamers are hanging on every scrap of info and know that just cause MSFT dominates the conversation at the moment, that’s an easy thing to change when they are ready to reveal (assuming the reveal is good).

Both tweets have been sent yesterday.

As the PS5 is about to be presented this fall, Sony must show it few months before so that it doesn’t get the flag “vaporware” and furthermore Microsoft is also about to present a new XBox soon which could mean a huge impact on Sony’s success.

A bit odd though that Sony won’t show up at the E3 which is one of the largest Gaming expos. Almost every gaming company will show their newest products there. The E3 will take place from June 9th to June 11th in Los Angeles.

We find it odd that even then Sony doesn’t plan to show the PS5 there as the E3 is THE expo to present the newest gaming stuff for the christmas sale in 2020.

But what will Sony show? An 8k gaming console? Or at least 4k with 60fps? VR? high computing power? Massive graphics power? Let’s take RDR2 for example: This game looks great on PC but lacks graphic detail on today’s consoles most likely due to their GPU limitations.

But once the consoles will close up to PC graphics quality, that might become a game changer here.

Sony also didn’t earn good critics about their new PS5 logo which seems… umm… quite similar to the old ones. Most people say that the design department of Sony is rather dull when it comes to designing new logos. But that’s another story…
