iPhone XI goes USB-C?

Apple finally breaking with a long-kept Ally? It seems
as if Apple now will completely put Lightning to sleep.
According to a Twitter screenshot, the Apple iPhone XI
won’t feature a Lightning port anymore. Surprising!

But the step is only logical, as other devices have been already switched to the new USB-C connector like the MacBooks, new iPad Pros and now it’s time for the iPhone to advance to the next step.

But is the Lightning connector dead then? We guess not as the recently updated iPod still has the classic Lightning connector and also the lower-priced iPads still use this connector.

So there’s no fear that you will run short of Lightning cables if yours breaks for whatever reason. We believe that even for the next 3 years there will be a sufficient supply of Lightning cables available.
