indeed Alternatives in MS Appstore but why not have it on board
already? It seems as if the File Manager will be available soon.
Funny enough to see that it takes 2 minor releases ’til Microsoft recognizes
that you’d better not change a running system. While Windows 8 is a real
goalgetter on tablets and touchscreen notebooks, it cannot get ground on
stationary PCs and classic notebooks. Win7 makes it’s rounds there.
So… finally the US cartel authority has given green lights for Microsoft to
take over Nokia’s cellphone business. With a total sum of 3.6 billion US$
and additional 1.45 billion US$ for patents held by Nokia today, the deal
is also okay for the european cartel authority in Brussels.
The new XBox is a long-awaited successor for the already aged XBox 360.
While Sony has already presented details for the PS4 and Nintendo
brought the WiiU to the gamers last christmas, Microsoft is a bit on the
slow line and has to show something now.
Nintendo has brought it’s new console on December last year, Microsoft and
Sony still wait to date until they reveal their new next-gen consoles. But the
date for Microsoft’s console seems to be known now and on May 21st, 2013 it
is probably shown to the public.
Well… nowadays, servers don’t produce as much heat as their older
pendants which had to be cooled using water. Yet the Microsoft data

This ain’t good news for Microsoft. Brussels has sued Microsoft for violating
the Browser choice agreement. The main argument was that Mcrosoft has
not shown the Browser Choice windows to all users (which users they are,
is till unknown)! Although I am not a Microsoft Fanboy, this is ridiculous!
Seems as if not only Apple has the trouble when it comes to delivery flaws upon
the release of new hardware. The Surface Pro tablet is also among these gadgets
which are highly demanded but where the manufacturer cannot deliver the item
in time. So it’s simply waiting time for those who want to have a Surface Pro.
Nintendo and Sony – archrivals since the very beginning of the game console
era. Even now it seems as if Nintendo seems to be much more successful as
these figures underline: While the PS Vita is sold 3 million times, the 3DS has
been sold 22 million times. A factor of 7 to 1 for Nintendo.
What seems odd for most of us, seems normal for Microsoft. So it is known
to winfuture that Microsoft wants to make the switch to the new Metro
surface more delicate to the customers by putting up a rather high budget
for advertisement of Windows 8. But seriously: is this really necessary?
Another hardware test. Believe it or not but I recently have acquired a
Microsoft hardware and want to compare it against the primus Logitech
who brings in the TouchMouse M600. What makes me test the Microsoft
rodent anyways? I thought, why not check out Microsoft hardware.
This year’s NDC (Norwegian Developer’s Conference) from Microsoft seems
to have been a bit weird and shameful for Microsoft. During a very odd dance
show where light-suited women have danced during a modifies Scooter song,
the words “Micro” and “Soft” have flashed on the teleprompters.
Has Windows Vista been a disaster for Microsoft so is Windows 7 a complete
success. The OS has brought in more money into Microsoft’s cashier in the
third quarter of the fiscal year. So has the net profit been 5.1 billion US$ from
a total revenue of 17.1 billion US$. It prooves that Windows 7 must be good.
