Nokia wins patent fight over HTC

It seems as if HTC didn’t have much luck against Nokia. Nokia seems to have
located a special microphone design in HTC’s new phone “One” which has
been exclusively designed for Nokia and has also been patented by Nokia.
A court in the Netherlands there fore have issued an injuction against HTC.

When FullHD meets smartphone

When we speak of superlatives about displays, the iPhone is no longer the

For once, all these hassles and fights seem to come to an end according to
the actual news that Apple and HTC have finally buried all open lawsuits.

To ppi or not to ppi…

Long time, the iPhone 4 has dominated the display resolution field. The
astonishing display resolution of 326 ppi in Apple’s famous Retina display
was unmatched and it kept the crown for about 15 months. Today HTC has
announced the HTC Vigor. It’s 4.3 inch display seems to put one on top!

Apple in trouble… once more!

Seems as if the guys at Cupertino get no rest at all. Now a real near competitor
from Fremont (That’s approx. 7 miles away from Cupertino) is suing Apple for
patent violations. S3 formerly known for integrated GPU and much earlier also
known for own graphics cards, sees two of it’s patents violated by Apple.
