Smart speakers begin to dominate ones’ homes in these days
but is that a good thing or not? What if these speakers and
their built-in assistants begin to eavesdrop on you and steal
your sensitive data like passwords and the like?
Can it be true? Will we possibly see a remastered Diablo II?
And furthermore: Will a sequel to Diablo IV follow? According
to a leak on Amazon, the Artbook that will be relased along
with the Blizzcon, states a dazzling text.
It seems as if Oracle has lost another big customer. Amazon
announced that the last of 7’600 Oracle DBs with 75PB of
data has been successfully migrated to AWS, an inhouse
service from Amazon.
Privacy is a thing of concern and they all seem to have their
problems with it. Facebook however got caught several times
failing to secure personal data. In this case again millions of
user datasets have been exposed using cloud services.
It seems to be hard times for Oracle when it comes to
Cloud Services. According to various news portals,
Oracle has started laying off employees who are involved
in Cloud development. An internal mail shows changes…

No good times for the mayor of New York. Despite the
generous 3 billion US$ tax reduction Amazon has now
dropped the plans to build a campus in Queens. The
site would have offered 25.000 to 40.000 jobs.
After Apple hitting the magical 1 trillion line,
now Amazon is doing likewise. At 11:36AM
Amazon shares were at 2’049.50 US$ per
share and raised the value of Amazon…
One thing we like about Amazon is the uncomplex way of ordering things
on the internet and have them delivered home. No more walking around
in the rain no more waithing at the cash register and easy browse&search
on the homepage for specific items. But in Germany there’s grey clouds.
Sounding almost ridiculous, Amazon has really patented a system to keep
mobile devices from hard crashes. Files under the patent number 833035
at the U.S. patent office, you’ll find a scheme for a air-driven recovery
system. However it’s not yet known what Amazon really plans.
