Nokia back on track with the Lumia 920?

While many people think, Nokia’s dead, it seems as if Nokia brings up a
new smartphone with Windows 8 Mobile. Slim, sleek and fast, that’s what
the Lumia 920 is said to be. But is the newest phone really the resue for
the already-buried Nokia company?

If you watch the stock value, the shareholders weren’t satisfied at all and their value dropped by 10%.

The details  of the phone however sound fine: PureView-enabled camera, 4.5 inch AMOLED display, fast 1.4GHz processor and Windows 8 Mobile as backend should give that phone a real chance to compete with Android and iOS. But yet Nokia will face big problems with Windows Mobile as iOS is widely spread and also AndroidOS is built into many mobile devices. Also the App markets of iOS and Android are much bigger than Windows App Market.

While you see lots of iPhones or android devices when sitting in the tram or walking around, you hardly spot any Nokia devices though.

I had my hands on a Nokia Lumia 800 and couldn’t find anything negative to it. The surface worked fluid and Apps were launched really fast…

Nokia was just too slow and lost the connection to the others. Once a glooming star, now an underdog on the cell phone market…
