Seems as if NVidia always drags out another ace when it comes to processor
power. The brandnew Tegra 3 is a special processor indeed. dualcore, tricore
quadcore, hexacore, octocore. All sounds impressive. But ever heard of a
pentacore? No? Me neither. But it seems, NVidia has found another way…

Now it finally happened… It seems as if the German Self-Regulatory Body for
for the legally regulated protection of minors has entered the Internet. In
times, where swearing language, pornography and violence is omnipresent
also in social networks, newsportals and the like, this signet may now also…

Well… As it got boring to checkmate the AI at medium setting over 100 times, I decided
to challenge myself by playing a round at extreme setting and try to checkmate him.
I tried often by playing as defensive as possible and mostly ended up checkmated as the
AI always slashed my pawns and then picks on my main figures one by one…

The Fight, Apple vs. Samsung (or vice versa) is going into the next round.
As Samsung has officially stated that they plan to force a sales-ban in
South Korea, the chances are good for a bloody fight. It seems, that
revenge is a nice tool for Samsung as Apple has recently done likewise!

You know… I really appreciate good devices, good design and technical perfection.
Apple is one of those companies who come up with really good gadgets that enrich your
life. But when you read about something to come up in the future all day and everywhere
then I can’t help to think that it is a shameless and cost-efficient promotion.

Remember when I posted about the first SDXC microSD card from Lexar in
June this year? Finally my favourite memory card manufacturer seems to
have done the same and announces these little giant cards as well. At a MSRP
of about 219 US$ / 159 € / 199 CHF these cards are fair calculated.

Let’s look back: What happened? Apple has sued Samsung for violating design patents
So Apple won the fight and the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is now prohibited until further
notice. Today, it seems as if Samsung vows revenge for this and started suing Apple in
France – also for violating patents in the cell phone transmission sector.

Was the old world record held by an intel core I7 processor overclocked to
6.5 GHz using liquid nitrogen, the new world record is now set up by an
overclocked brandnew AMD Bulldozer 8-core CPU (the 8150FX). The video
attached to this post will show the extreme workload to do.

Today I tried to apply the so-called Scholar’s mate move on the AI. You don’t know what
Scholar’s mate means? It means, setting the opponent checkmate within 4 moves
ignoring any threat of him. As this move is very basic, you won’t see professionals
playing that move in any way. Amazing how quick the AI was beaten!

Well… remember, when I beat the AI (or let’s say, the iPhone) with six queens?
You also remember that I stated, that it would be almost impossibe to gain 7
queens and then bone the AI? Finally I managed to do this also but it was not
easy at all. Took me quite some time to do so and not on easy setting!

It seems as if Apple also is being mocked by local comedians. In the following

You may ask now what the heck is going on? Apple against the rest of the

the well-known Apple logo. For me, it looks more similar to the LG logo…

The IFA 2011 in Berlin (a famous german annual expo for new hifi and video devices)
